Temple Trees and The Cubbyhole Jakarta

Whilst so many others going for an earthy natural tone, Temple Trees take a fresh turn with their items, this living nest flourish in vibrant urban tropical colours.

Occupying the second and third floor with crafts from local artisans and international manufacturers, you can see the intricate quilt fabrics turned into small plushy toys, ceramics from one of our own Bali's artisans Tekuni, Sri Lankan natural dyed fabrics, to some antiques that the owner scout themselves from around the globe.

On the first floor, The Cubbyhole at Temple Trees a newfound eatery calls this establishment home. Interconnected with separated entrances, make both place accessible without distracting each other. But of course you can roam seamlessly throughout the building if you came to do both, shop and dine.

With a cultural mix of Javanese and Sri Lankan decors, as per owners backgrounds, this place is beautifully packed. And Sanchia's murals illustrate it all, I'm obsessed! (check out her works on instagram, #sanchiadraws)
